Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms of service ("Terms") govern the use of the DealFury browser extension ("the Extension"), published by DealFury ("we", "our").

By installing or using the Extension, you accept these Terms in their entirety. If you do not accept these Terms, please uninstall the Extension.

2. Description of Service

DealFury is a free Chrome extension that:

• Detects and displays promotions and discounts on supported e-commerce sites.
• Compares prices of the same product across different countries (Amazon).
• Displays a quality score for each detected deal.
• Maintains a local price history to track price evolution.

3. User Account

Basic use of the Extension does not require an account. Creating an account (via email and password) provides access to additional features:

• Synchronisation of the watchlist across devices.
• Backup of user preferences.

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

By using the Extension, you agree to:

• Not attempt to circumvent the Extension's security measures.
• Not use the Extension for illegal or unauthorised purposes.
• Not modify, decompile, or disassemble the Extension's source code.
• Not use the Extension to automatically collect data for commercial purposes.

5. Data and Privacy

The collection and processing of your data are governed by our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• Browsing data (prices, titles) is processed locally in your browser.
• No cookies are used by the Extension.
• No advertising or analytical tracking is performed.
• Account data is stored securely via Supabase (TLS encryption).

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, its source code, design, and content are protected by copyright. Any unauthorised reproduction or redistribution is prohibited.

Trademarks, logos, and product names displayed in the Extension belong to their respective owners. DealFury is not affiliated with any of the supported e-commerce sites.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of displayed prices.
• Continuous and uninterrupted availability of the service.

In no event shall DealFury be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Extension, including purchasing decisions based on displayed information.

8. Account Deletion

You can at any time:

• Delete your account and all associated data from the "My Account" page.
• Clear local data by uninstalling the Extension.

Account deletion results in the irreversible erasure of all your personal data stored on our servers, in accordance with GDPR.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. In case of material changes, we will notify you via the Extension. Continued use of the Extension after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France.
